Trial & Error with RedHat 6.0

Well,

I managed to snag a copy of RH 6.0 today at CompUSA.
I am into my third attempt to install it on my IBM ThinkPad, and I keep
running into this issue of the root partition being too small even though
when I fdisk it, it's set to 31 MB.

Anyway, I will continue to play and will update.

For those interested, I am formally evaluating what I consider the
the main distributions of linux (Caldera, RedHat & Suse).  My evaluation 
criteria are still in development, but I have assembled copies of each and
hope to do several installs during the week. If anyone wishes to participate
in documenting the evaluations, please drop me an email.  I hope to wrap
everything up within 2 weeks.

 Caldera 2.2	$29 CompUSA
 Suse 6.1	$34 MicroCenter (can't find receipt, but I think it's right)
