Thanks... A follow-up to the thread about is-it-cool-to-ask-for-work-here I initiated last month: It turns out that among many of the regular lurkers here on this list are various ISP owners. One of them happened to have received the resignation of his top network jock not long before my posting, so we immediately got into discussions. This turned out to be by far the most suitable of opportunities for me. So discuss at blu.org works for finding good jobs. As for Robert above, I am now maintaining facilities in about six "kewl" computer rooms scattered around greater Boston. I'm way too busy to give miscellaneous tours, but if we can make it mutual and bring in people who can help to finance and construct additional facilities, I'm all ears. To return the favor, I'm looking for good network (Cisco/Livingston/3Com) and facilities-maintenance people--just created two openings in my new group. Please send referrals. -rich Rich Braun VP of Networks Shore.Net 173 Oxford St. Lynn, MA 01901 781/586-6159 richb at shore.net - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
