After lurking around for the past few weeks, I guess I should say hello and thanks for all the info I've already gathered by listening in. I recently was assigned the task of setting up a small network at my work. We have 6 PC's running Windows 95/98. We just took delivery of a Dell system pre-loaded with RH Linux 6 to use as a server. I have ZERO experience doing this stuff. I could sure use a push in the right direction. We will be using this server to act mostly as a file and print server, but also as a very limited web server and email server. Could you guys point me towards some web based resources or books that will make the next few weeks a little less stressful. TIA, Phil Buckley - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
