Apparently the modules included on the boot diskette can't mount the CD-ROM drive,(of course, Windoze can with no trouble) I'll try using the modules diskette as you suggest. I need pcmcia to mount the CD-ROM drive. I was looking for a command to put in the modules disk, I didn't get one. SuSE has good capabilites and enabled me to identify more system details not far into the installation, looking forward to using it.
