'xv' always worked for me, but I don't think it's distributed with
RedHat anymore.  You might want to try a SUSE pkg, or debian.  I
can't really say since I haven't done it yet myself, but I really
miss 'xv' from the RedHat CD.  Poor decision to drop it I think.
