I have a couple of gnumake questions. First, is there a book on gnumake (similar to O'Reilly's excelent book on make)? The other question is specific: The construct below, $$@.o (Dynamic Dependency) works very nicely with the Unix make, but not with the gnumake. I have not spent much time resolving the problem or checking the online archives since it is a very low priority for me at the moment. ${PPROGS}: $$@.o Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix http://www.blu.org - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
