One of the lists on our server was configured to trigger the digest either on a threshold or every other day. I had posted the Linux announcement to several mailing lists, and the digest for that list actually came out last night. I am not sure what Joe had it configured to, because he changed it last night. digest_maxdays = 1 digest_maxlines = I think he had digest_maxdays set to 2. I persoanlly like to have digest_maxlines set as well as digest_maxdays so that we can limit the size of the digests, but trigger the digest at least once every N days even if we have fewer than the maxlines. Has anyone had any experience with the maxdays. I know the maxlines works fine. -- Jerry Feldman (HP On-Site Consultant) http://gbrweb.msd.ray.com/~gzf/ +-------------------------------------------------------+-----Note: ------+ | Raytheon Electronic Systems (W) (781)999-1837/1-1837 | My views may not| | Mail Stop: S3SG10 (F) (781)999-4030/1-4030 | reflect the | | 180 Hartwell Road (W) gzf at gbr.msd.ray.com | views of my | | Bedford, MA 01730-2498 (FWD:H+W) gaf at blu.org | employer. | +-------------------------------------------------------+-----------------+ - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
