I see piles of cheap boxed ISA sound cards at KGP and Northern shows. Are any of these good? I want to set up v4l on a k6-200 system, 2.2.5 or 2.2.11 kernel. Sound quality equivalent to a $80 tv is fine. Any recommendations for basic sound? What are the issues? On a tangent: Has the wattage rating method for speakers changed, or can these little speakers make you deaf before they shatter themselves? rob rir at mediaone.net Say what? ... Huh? ...
