Xterm and .Xresources

DON'T DO THAT! 

Instead, launch your xterm as

xterm -fn "-misc-fixed-medium-*-*-*-15-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"

Or if you insist on setting up specific fonts using resources, try these:

XTerm*font: 6x13
