What is the RPM to install gcc???

Yep, that's it there.

egcs is replacing gcc, so that's what you get..

When using the custom install, when you've selected something, you
can hit ALT-F1 (or F2?), and it shows a summary and size of package;
also ISTR it shows the total size of all selected packages.
