---------- Forwarded message ---------- Subject: Mail pager From: dan moylan <jdm34 at cornell.edu> Date: Wed, 20 Oct 1999 02:16 +0100 in using berkely Mail on ultrix and irix in years gone by, i was always able to export PAGER=less to use for paging through Mail. in linux, that seems not to work, though the man pages suggest that it should. the action seems to be cat, not more or less, regardless of the settings. i tried setting PAGER in .mailrc but that didn't help. have i missed something i should have known? TIA, dan - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
