This is how I did it from a Linux machine to an NT system: smbmount //NBname/share passwd -W workgroup -U username -c 'mount /mountpoint' Just make sure that the password is the first item after the machine name and share name before any other options, otherwise you will be prompted for a passwd. You could make this a shell script and add it to rc.local to cause the mount to happen every time the machine boots (provided your passwd does not change often and you make sure that no one else can read the file since your NT passwd will be there for anyone with read access to the script to see.)
