Hello, You need a program that will uncompress the mp3 to wav and then record as normal. I'm not sure how cdroast does with music cds I tried once and came out pretty bad. I usually use adaptecs music doctor for that it comes with easy cd deluxe or what ever the new product there using these days. Winamp is the easiest way to uncompress them however I think xmms will as well you just need to change the configuration to do it. Hope thats a help, Anthony On Thu, 6 Jan 2000, Jerry Feldman wrote: > My daughter has a bunch of MP3s she wants me to put on a CD so she can play them on a CD player. I have not paid a lot of attention to that stuff. I use CD to install, copy and backup. I have not looked at the howto files yet. Anyone want to point me to the right howtos? > -- > Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> > Boston Linux and Unix user group > http://www.blu.org > > > - > Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with > "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the > message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored). > - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
