SuSE uses the standard dhclient. I only had a problem when I first changed from SuSE 6.0 to 6.1 then last summer after I inadvertently left my system booted up under windows. After a few tries, I manually edited the lease database, and it came up immediately. Someone had posted the reason why on this list. But, those were the only two times I had a problem. It was rejecting the M1H offer.
