Date: Sun, 13 Feb 2000 17:20:24 -0500 From: "Seth M. Landsman" <seth at job.cs.brandeis.edu> So a friend of mine in the back bay just got Bellatlantic DSL. They had him install Windows Dialup Manager software to get this working under windows. Does anyone know what is necessary to get this working under linux or have a FAQ or HowTo they can throw at me? Is this dhcp based? Are these normally static ips? Speaking of which, I got something for this in the mail. Is BellAtlantic one of the "nasties" or one of the "nice" folks (I don't have Windows installed on my system)? -- Robert Krawitz <rlk at alum.mit.edu> http://www.tiac.net/users/rlk/ Tall Clubs International -- http://www.tall.org/ or 1-888-IM-TALL-2 Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- mail lpf at uunet.uu.net Project lead for The Gimp Print -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
