But I just bought a new toy (HP 9100i CDwriter) for my Linux system, and so I thought I'd use it. Two ruined CD's later, I still don't have a bootable copy. I tried CD to CD with gcombust, and CD to disk to CD with XCDroast, using the lastest beta edition and the new non-alpha cdrecord 1.8. But it didn't work.
