Multiple NICS

I am trying to set up to use multiple NIC cards too (preparation
for getting
DSL in soon :)

I have two linksys tulip cards (nc100's), and only one card is
recognized.
And even it is not communicating right :( ... I even ping through
it and I
start seeing all kinds of 'reset' messages.

I have tried the ethers= lines on the Linux command line from
LILO,
I have put it in the lilo.conf, I have tried putting in the
entries in
/etc/conf.modules ... still not joy. :(

Any ideas?
