Linux ISO images FYI

I suggest you look at C/NET (http://linux.cnet.com). They have reviews of
most of the distributions. There is also a lot of religion involved. Corel
seems to be rated one of the best for newcomers converting from
Windows. Mandrake is also targeted at newbies. Corel seems to be
lacking many things that a developer would expect to be part of the
distribution. Red Hat is the most popular. Some of the engineers I work
with prefer SuSE. This mailing list is a good place to discuss the
differences and opinions.

Jerry - Thanks! This is just what I was looking for. But, I'm sure it
really reopens a can of worms (or opens it for us newcomers) - What are
the strengths/weaknesses of the various Linux implementations? Anyone want
to offer a site that might discuss this for us newbie's?
