Yea, I have a netbackup server and I am trying to install the client on my RH6.1 laptop. NetBackup uses rsh or ftp to install the client software, but I have put .rhosts in /root (permissions 600 ), and tried it to a non-root users, but no-joy. I can rsh from the RH6.1 machine to the Solaris 2.6 netbackup server with no problems. Suggestions? ...
