---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Sat, 5 Aug 2000 06:04:18 -0700 (PDT) From: David Chase <dlchase at yahoo.com> Subject: MkLinux on Macintosh Performa 6300 The MkLinux group has announced that as of July 31 there is a kernel that will run on my Macintosh Performa 6300. I am a newbie who knows nothing of Linux. I need help in getting started. About all I know is that there is a CD and book out with an earlier kernel which is not compatible with my box. Another question is whether or not a PDS ethernet card is supported. I would like to network this box on an existing 10BaseT network, perhaps using it as a server. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Kick off your party with Yahoo!
