We have more than a few of them, in a raid lvl 5 config, you get 84gigs of space -----Original Message----- From: John Abreau [mailto:jabr at blu.org] Sent: Thursday, August 24, 2000 1:36 PM To: discuss at Blu.Org Cc: bblisa at bblisa.org Subject: Quantum SNAP servers - how much overhead? I'm considering ordering a Quantum SNAP disk server for work; the 120gb model goes for $3000. I'd assume that the 120gb figure is the raw disk space, and that once I configure it, the effective space would be much smaller. After subtracting all the overhead, how much disk space is actually useable on one of these? I need to know this for capacity planning before we actually order them.
