MAC .... SCHMAC Just fix the MAC prior to running dhclient. I used my windows laptop to let the MediaOne drone config and validate the connection, then simple threw the MAC on eth1 of my sparc 20 firewall (RH 6.1). done... You can replace your NIC at will and never have to bother customer support.
