sound card config

I just finished putting rh 7.0 on my laptop and I got everything to work
except
the sound card (even though it did work with 7.0 beta)  sndconfig just
locks the
system when it tries to detect the card (it's a via something).  I
manualy loaded
the driver and it appears that the IRQ and DMA settings for the sb.o
module are
wrong.  Now my question is this.  Where is the conf file for these so I
can put 
the correct values in?
