Hello Derek and BLU: It turns out Netscape was the nasty memory hog. Closing it released a LOT of memory and swap. So, on to looking for another, less taxing, free browser. Any ideas? Maybe I'll see what FSF has to offer. Any leads would also be appreciated. P.S. There was a command I used to use which showed shared memory allocation, and I think some variants of it to delete zombied allocations. Can someone please refresh my memory of it? Thanks. - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
