I just got a palm pilot and I can get it to sync with my linux laptop :( I downloaded pilot-link 0.9.3 and built and installed it. but when I run pilot-xfer it says it can't bind /dev/pilot (linked to /dev/ttys0) I then tried using /dev/ttys1 through /dev/ttys4. Then I re-booted into windows and double checked, it is on COM1 (ttys0 right?) and works fine. So why isn't it working? I checked a few sites for info (linux.com, linuxcare, etc) but they all seemed say was "download pilot-link and use pilot-xfer". But nothing about what to do when it doesn't work. please help! I hate the idea of having to reboot just to sync my palm -fjr - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
