For those of you who don't read Slashdot or missed it, Plex86 is a free, open-source replacement for VMware developed by Kevin Lawton of Mandrakesoft. Plex86 can be had here: http://www.plex86.org A screenshot of it running Windows on Linux can be seen here: http://www.plex86.org/plex86runsWin95.gif I haven't tried it (nor do I intend to unless I'm asked to) but it may definitely be worth checking out if you have a use for VMware and such. -- We sometimes catch a window, a glimpse of what's beyond Was it just imagination stringing us along? --------------------------------------------------- Derek Martin | Unix/Linux geek ddm at pizzashack.org | GnuPG Key ID: 0x81CFE75D Retrieve my public key at http://pgp.mit.edu - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
