resident physician Linux users group

I received this from a physician who wants to form a resident physician
LUG. She did not mention where, but I felt that some members of the group
could give her some advice. She is not on the dicsussion list.

Hello,

My name is Diane Parker and I am interested in
starting a resident physician Linux users group. At
the present there are several users and we meet on a
regular basis with several other users interested in
joining our meetings. We would like to formalize these
meetings into a physicians Linux users group primarily
to disseminate information and hold regular meetings
to discuss issues relevant to female computer users.

Would you please advise us on 1. How we should go
about organizing such a group.
                                                   2.
how would we obtain or contact sponsors for
organization and web site.

Any advice would be sincerely appreciated

Diane Parker, MD
