I posted this to the list a couple days ago, but never saw it appear, so reposting: Here's a blurb from Sun that I had read, that describes how Solaris 'frees' memory from recently used apps: http://www.sunworld.com/sunworldonline/swol-10-1995/swol-10-perf_p.html - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
