Compile error

The first thing that comes to mind is that this buildkernel package
isn't updated for 2.4.0 (I've never used it).  What happens when you
take the make mrproper; make xconfig; make dep; make clean; make
bzImage; make modules; make modules_install approach with a clean
source?
