Mandrake 7.2 release - a dud?

>

Hummmnmmm, I switch from being a Red Hat user (5.2, 6.1, 6.2) to Mandrake 7.1
installed it on three machines
including a no-name brand lap-top and was impressed. Alas, I then tried 7.2 and
have spent considerable
time I don't have to get it working as I would like. Many of my problems were
with X installation.
One problem was with OpenGL programs - eg. xtraceroute, not working. I had to
install a clean x401 that
I downloaded from the Xfree site.

Just one guys experiences.

Rich.
