I appears a few "yeses" but just as many "noes". When I logged back on late in the evening (10:30) all was fine again. My FTP download of the latest iCab from icab.de went from essentially zero to around 6K. No response from Fastdial about the problem, but that's no surprise. At least they fixed it in a timely manner and I'll write again to thank them. Thanks for the feedback. It may have been an issue with the AscendTNT modem farm system.
