Miles Fidelman, president of the Center for Civic Networking wanteds to know how many BLU members have high speed Internet connactions, DSL or cable, and of those, how many run Windoz over that connection. I know that many of you have home networks, so I'll further narrow the statement to if you have a home network, where you might run a Linux box, I think that it is more important that which system is your primary machine for email and general computing. For example, in my house, I use Linux as my primary system, and my wife uses Windows. My answer would be Linux, or mixed. Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Associate Director Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
