Web Publishing & Perl

Hi:
Does anyone have a recommendation for a software suite to use for web
publishing on Linux & using Perl?
I've done a ton of scripting in Perl but Zope was written in Python and
it only natively supports Python for cgi type stuff.  There's a 'zoperl'
product that you're supposed to be able to use but I've just about given
up trying.  The process to update all program versions and build
distutils/pyperl/zoperl is all but impossible for me to complete.
