Since a few people have mentioned this now, I figured I'd give my input. My home DSL in Bedford was switched this morning, and was a very painless process. I had ~25-30 ms ping times to my gateway with the NY PoP and have the same ping times now with the Boston PoP, but am actually getting the full bandwidth that I had in the past on my 608/128kbps line, being no longer in an overbooked PoP. I've had my pings go up to ~250-300 ms a couple of times, but sending an email to support asking them to reprovision my line (usually dropping it down from 6 hops to 4) always brought it back to 30 ms to my gateway. I'd suggest that, if it hasn't been done already. Brian J. Conway dogbert at clue4all.net Geek for hire: http://clue4all.net/resume Men may control the free world, but women control the boobs.
