Protocol Stacks in Relationship to the OSI Model (fwd)



Found this link in the Red Hat mailing list.  Quite interesting comparison
of different network protocol layers.

Something unusual I never realized before about Microsoft networking:

NetBEUI stands for Network Basic Extended User Interface.
Seems to me that 'Basic Extended' is an oxymoron, and this certainly has
nothing to do with user interfaces.
