You can't?

The man page on my machine says:

  SYNOPSIS
       scp [-pqrvC46] [-P port] [-c cipher] [-i identity_file]
           [[user@]host1:]file1 [...] [[user@]host2:]file2

And, indeed, I just tried it crossing ids and it worked.

Is this a version difference?  (I was on a Redhat 7.0 for this
experiment.)  Maybe they fixed it.
