Not being able to run some x86 apps kills my interest in this. The only reason I use linux on my laptop is to drop it into a network to do network scanning, traffic analsys or traplog/syslog server. Save yourself some $$ and buy a refurbed dell that some dotcom is selling, plenty on ebay. Apple hardware is nice and this is a great deal, I will give them that. > On Wed, 20 Jun 2001, Abhi wrote: > Do you guys think it is worth getting a apple ibook > with Mac OS X loaded on it although it is unix its the > closest thing i can get on a laptop to do with > unix/linux. -- Kris Loranger kris at kancer.978.org IRC:irc.978.org,#978,Kancer AIM:KancerKris "If you're going to sell out, sell out ethically" -Moby - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
