I just installed open office vs. star office, since I feel that star office it a bit "desktop" heavy. Regardless, after the installation of open office I determined that open office does not have a spell checker. I guess the reason behind this is that Sun uses a 3rd party software for the dictionary license? So since star office and open office are basically the same in content and structure, I was wondering if anyone tried moving the star office dictionary into open office? If the answer is "Yes", is the "sun.dic" file the only one I need to relocate? Any help would be appreciated. thanks -g - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
