The Open Edition of Kylix (the one that you get for free, and that can only be used to develop free software) is now available at Borland's web site (http://www.borland.com/kylix/). You do have to register with the site and answer mildly nosy questions to get it. For those of you who are developing non-free software, the Desktop Edition is still on sale for $199 until August 23. I'll let you folks know what I think after I have a chance to try it out. - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
