I am running redhat 7.0 Assuming you're talking about sharing a DSL or cablemodem connection in your home, I'd strongly suggest picking up a Netgear or Linksys cable/dsl router. You can find these at places like CompUSA and Best Buy. They act as a firewall as well as a router, and they're incredibly easy to set up. They do network address translation and provide dhcp, so you only need a single address from your ISP. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix ICQ 28611923 / AIM abreauj / JABBER jabr at jabber.org / YAHOO abreauj Email jabr at blu.org / WWW http://www.blu.org - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
