As Douglas Melniker notes, your NVRAM settings probably don't specify booting from disk. Use Stop-A to get the boot EPROM program, and issue the command 'printenv' to see the boot param values. The one for 'boot' should be disk. The default value will be noted in the right hand column. Then use 'setenv ' to change it. - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
