Beware of the 10/100 PC Cards. I had originally bought a Linksys 10/100 PC card for my laptop and the best benchmark I got from it was about 10Mbps. I returned it and got a cardbus (32 bit) PC card (this time a Netgear because they did not have the Linksys). The 32 bit cardbus version benchmarks close to 100Mbps.
