How can I get *some* of the user logins on my RH 7.0 machine to go directly into X, and then log out the virtual console, so that on exiting X the login is all gone. But I don't want all users to go into X--in other words not my login or root's. I know I can change the default run level, but that makes all logins go to X and it leaves X running all the time. I don't want X chewing up resources on a machine that is mostly just a light weight server. Suggestions? Thanks, -kb, the Kent who tried some things but none has quite worked. - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
