X does point to XFree86, and what you mean it wasn't installed suid root? I installed it as root and when I do ls -l to X I get this: sickness# ls -l X lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 7 Dec 5 00:53 X -> XFree86 wouldn't that mean that it is installed as root? If not how can I fix it so it is installed as suid root or how would I create the link from X to Xwrapper?
