Anthony writes: | running you own mail sever makes life so much easier. Yeah, but there are growing reports of ISPs blocking ports 25, 109 and 110. With web servers, you can use another port. But with email, there's no syntax to specify another port, so you must use the correct port. If they want to block all your email traffic, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. (If there's a solution to this, it'd be interesting to hear about it.)
