a to do list for newly genned machines



I don't believe there's a checklist to speak of.
What exactly do you want to do?

If you're looking to secure and get it operational as a gateway there
are resources such as TrinityOS and Bastille Linux...

recently built a red-hat 7.1 that I'm having trouble starting some
services 
on a machine that I put everything on. So any pointers would be great...
