The IPv6 HOWTO was just updated (1/19/02). You may want to take a look as I briefly reviewed the TOC and saw some material that may be relevant to your search. I keep a local mirror of the LDP at http://www.digitalvoodoo.org/mirrors/LDP You'll find the IPv6 HOWTO at http://www.digitalvoodoo.org/mirrors/ldp/HOWTO/Linux+IPv6-HOWTO/ hth. --Tim -----Original Message----- From: discuss-admin at blu.org [mailto:discuss-admin at blu.org] On Behalf Of vt Sent: Tuesday, January 22, 2002 21:17 To: t - Singapore LUG; zt - Boston Linux Mail List; zt - New York Linux User Grp; zt - Northern Virginia LUG; t - USAGI IPV6 Subject: IPv6 Private Network Setup Hi all, I would like to setup a private IPv6 lan network. I understand that I could do IPv6-in-IPv4 tunneling to access the IPv6-Internet. However, is it possible to do IP Masq to masq an IPv6 packet in a IPv4 packet to access external IPv4 sites? How do I setup the router to do this? For the client, am I right to say that nothing much is to be done except to get an IPv6 address from the DHCPv6 in the router? Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://lists.blu.org/pipermail/discuss/attachments/20020123/b9af080a/attachment.html>
