I'm running Debian on my SS5. IIRC I had to install potato and then upgrade to woody, but this was a long time ago. At the time, the woody installer did not support sparc (or, rather, the installer didn't work on sparc). But my machine is happily running Debian at this moment. -derek Cole Tuininga <colet at code-energy.com> writes: > I've recently become (luckily or unluckily, depending on your view) the > recipient of an old Sparc 5 that I would like to set up as a linux > server in my home network. > > What I'm looking for is if anybody has any experience with distros that > are *still being maintained* for the sparc architecture?
