SuSE 7.3 installed everything I needed to run it automatically. Although there are "features" of VDSL that I dislike, particularly the lack of mail forwarding that screws up all my replies unless I remember to switch my email address (must write a script one of these days), and static IP would be nice, but otherwise the line has been highly reliable, and downloading is consistently faster than what they promise.
