linux dialin server help!

I need some admin help fast :(  I have to set up a dialin server today and
a grand total of about 2 hours across the day to do it.
I'm still trying to get the info on the modem but does anyone know of a
easy to follow website on setting one up?

What I need is this:
Dial into the remote system
Start a PPP connection
Be able to telnet into the remote system.
and I have to be able to connect from both Linux and WindowsXP

The box is RedHat 7.2 running kernel 2.4.9-13
